How to deal with accidental liquid in your mass flow controller
We’ve been fans of Alicat Scientific for a while now. Some of our customers have other preferred MFC vendors, and we always honor that when working with their equipment. There are some very good products out there.
When a system requires a gas flow controller and the customer is open to our suggestions, we recommend Alicat MFCs due to a practical aspect of their design. Sometimes liquids find their way into the gas line. When that happens, other brand’s controllers are ruined. Not so with Alicat MFCs. Their gas controllers can be rinsed, dried and put back into service without even the need for calibration.
